What’s actually free?
All six documents. Draft them, read them, download them, keep them — no card, and no paywall at the end. You create an account with an email and password so you can sign back in to update or notarize later; that is the only thing we ask for. The $499 is for activation, when you decide you want it real.
Is an online living trust legally valid?
Yes. Mantle creates state-specific documents that meet California and Texas trust law, signed with a licensed notary on a live video call — the same notarization a law office would arrange.
What exactly does the $499 cover?
Activation: online notarization, your grant deed prepared and recorded with your county, and guided funding flows that walk each account and asset into the trust. Building and downloading is free — you only pay to make it real. After year one, $99/yr keeps the plan current.
Do you record the deed in every county?
Almost all. A few counties require the homeowner to record in person — in those, we prepare everything, tell you exactly where to go, and confirm once it’s on record.
What if I don’t live in California or Texas?
Mantle is built specifically for CA and TX. If you live elsewhere, a nationwide service is a better fit today.
